Mobile solutons for Small Businesses

Menu Buttons

This app utilizes the share buttons section to create text buttons menu items for each page.  This option works best for apps with 4 or less pages. The advantage over using a menu section is the menu buttons are seen at all times, the menu bar never covers your logo or content as it scrolls.

Facebook Pixel

Facebook allows you to add a tracking pixel to your webapp to  (a) build a custom audience of people who have visited your site and (b) track events such as a registration, booked a session, etc.   These are extremely usefule for Facebook advertising.

MPA provides a tracking section for Google Analytics and Facebook.  To start tracking visits and create your Facebook custom audience, add your pixel to the tracking section.

You can alternatively, add your pixel base code into an html section in your app.

The advanced app has both tracking and html sections included.  They are at the bottom of the app layout section.  You will not see them looking at a published app.   The html section shows an example of pixel base code ( with the pixed id removed) from Facebook Ads manager.

IMPORTANT
Whether you use the tracking section or the html section to register your app with Facebook, both register when the app is first opened.  Because of this, if you add any pixel event html, it will register at the same time as well which will give incorrect statistics unless you are only tracking  site visits.  To resolve this, you must create a 2nd app and add the tracking and event code to it which is demonstrated on the Email Page.

Loyalty Card

Loyalty cards have been an effective form of customer retention for over 100 years.  Redeemable stamps date back to 1891.   Digital loyalty cards are effective to market to companies which provide a frequent service.  Examples include carpet cleaner, resturants, pool cleaners, car washes, dry cleaners, and the list goes on.  They are less valuable to service providers who are called only when trouble arises like plumbers, HVAC technicians, etc.

A great way to market loyalty cards is in combination with automated text which is available per brand.  The service provider can advertise "Text BRANDNAME to MPA phone number for a free X".  I have had clients purchase magnet signs with this to advertise as they drove around or parked in large parking lots.

Automated text is set up on the text messaging tab under Setup.

Email Marketing

Email marketing is an excellent free method to market to cold, warm and hot traffic.  You can use MPA's form to capture emails and send them to MailChimp's email marketing platform.  You can then set up automated emails to market to them as they join the list.  The Email page has further information on how to set up email marketing using the form section.

You are not limited to using MailChimp.  You can also choose another provider and insert their form code into an html section.  If you are using Facebook Pixel advertising to drive clients to your email marketing app, then set the success destination from your provider as a secondary app with pixel event code and a button to return to your main app.  (see Facebook Pixel content for example.)  If not, set the success destination as a page within your main app so your user is returned to the app they originated on.  Both methods allow users to return to the main app.

A squeeze page is a landing page designed to capture opt-in email addresses from potential subscribers. The goal of a squeeze page is to convince a visitor into providing one of their most sought-after and coveted pieces of personal data: the email address in exchange for something of value.  This can be a report, educational video, or small product.

Squeeze pages only offer one action, which is to "opt in" which means you will create an app with an offer and a form.  No menus.  It is also known as a micro website.  A huge advantage of MyPhotoApp's webapps is the ability to render as an app or as a website, dependingon what device calls it.

Change the send email from field in the form to your email which you set up on the postmark tab in setup.

If you use Mail Chimp you can set up the list to add form subscribers to.

Make sure the success url field points to the location you want after the form is submitted.  This will need to be another app if you are using Facebook pixels so the registration event will fire.  This is demonstrated in this form, taking you to a submission received app called PixelEvent w which has a button to return to this main app.
